Segmented Rotary Heat Exchangers

Segmented rotors are designed for large air handling units and installations with limited access, where traditional one-piece rotors are difficult to transport or install.

Dividing the rotor into smaller sections enables easy handling, on-site assembly, and flexible installation without compromising performance.

A – Two Halves
The wheel comes delivered in two assembled halves. The bottom half is pre-mounted in the casing; lift and place the top half of the wheel onto the bottom half.

B – Segments
Bottom half wheel is pre-mounted. The top half comes in 2 or 4 segments for easy step-by-step assembly.

C – Split Segments (on request)
Bottom half wheel is pre-mounted. The top half is delivered in pieces to be glued to the spokes and assembled manually.

A – Two Halves
Meaning the wheel comes assembled as two halves, and you mount them together.

B – Segments
Meaning two wheel halves come further disassembled into segments. Build the wheel segment by segment.

C – Split Segments (on request)
Meaning the wheel comes disassembled (as in option B). Assemble the complete wheel by joining the spokes to the hub, placing the segment pieces between the spokes (including applying glue), and fastening the sweeps.
