Especially with industrial ventilation applications in mind we have developed a cleaning device that cleans the entire matrix in just one revolution.The Heatex Clean Blade uses pressurized air to dislodge contaminants from the matrix and entrain them into the exhaust air. It is positioned on the rotor’s exhaust/contaminated air inlet side. A typical application is spray booth ventilation.

A cleaning device for rotary heat exchangers is essential for maintaining optimal performance and efficiency. Rotary heat exchangers, also known as rotary air-to-air heat exchangers or rotary heat wheels, transfer heat between two air streams in various industrial and commercial applications.
Over time, these exchangers can accumulate dirt, dust, and other contaminants, reducing efficiency and increasing energy consumption and wear. Therefore, it is essential to keep the heat transfer matrix clean.
The Clean Blade pushes the contamination through the rotor and out into the leaving air using pressurized air.
The clean blade solution requires minimal maintenance. The pressure regulator’s white filter is visible from the outside and should be replaced if it becomes discolored from contamination. Any humidity is collected in the filter regulator. The water will automatically trickle out if the air pressure to the pressure regulator is shut off.
